The Writing Commons

Located on the first floor of the The Wallace Center at RIT, the University Writing Commons is a valuable resources for writers looking to receive feedback and guidance regarding their written work.

Student, faculty and staff located on campus can make use of several services offered at the Writing Commons, including:

  • 1-on-1 consultations with peer and professional writing consultants.
  • classroom-based support.
  • group sessions.

Distance learners and educators can seek the same assistance through the Online Writing Lab (OWL), which offers "support for online users through digital reference materials and networked consultations."
