The Office of Graduate Education and the Wallace Center have partnered to provide a dedicated space for graduate students to study and write. The Graduate Study Center is located in 1470 Wallace and is available during the following hours:
Mon-Wed 5:00pm - 8:00am
Thu-Fri 6:00pm - 8:00am
Sat 10:00am - 12:00am
Sun 11:00am - 8:00am
Graduate students without an office may want to use the library's study rooms. You may reserve library study rooms using RIT's Events Management System.
The ACCESS borrowing card will grant you direct borrowing privileges at participating area libraries. It is available to current faculty, graduate and undergraduate students and professional and research staff at RIT. Your application will be reviewed by the Reference Librarian in charge of the subject area in which you are doing research.
Cards are valid for a maximum of one year, from July 1 to June 30, with no automatic renewals.
If RIT doesn't have what you need, you can search ConnectNY, a consortium of New York State Libraries that will loan books to RIT students, faculty, and staff for free.
