Introduction

This guide is designed to support research, access and retrieval of hard to find materials, called Grey Literature.

Grey Literature is now recognized in the legal, environmental science, public health and medical fields.

  • GreyNet is  one of the major forces behind Grey literature's recognition..
  • From 1999-2016, The New York Academy of Medicine began collecting grey literature. This project developed into the Grey Literature Report bi-monthly report by the Academy Library for researchers and the public who are interested in public health, health and science policy and special populations (children, women, uninsured, elderly), and related disciplines. Click on subject link below for a quick search of the 1999 - 2016 database. This database has not been updated since January 2017:
  • Prevention
  • Healthy Aging
  • Eliminating Disparities
  • History of Medicine
  • Academy Publications
