Open Educational Resources, RIT Croatia: Open Access Journals

Information about freely available resources.

Open Access

Open access can be applied to all forms of published research output, including peer-reviewed and non peer-reviewed academic journal articles, conference papers, theses, book chapters, and monographs. Academic articles (as historically seen in paper-based academic journals) have been the main focus of the movement. ( )

Directory of Open Access Journals

The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)  is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. DOAJ is independent. All funding is via donations, 40% of which comes from sponsors and 60% from members and publisher members. All DOAJ services are free of charge including being indexed in DOAJ. All data is freely available.

DOAJ operates an education and outreach program across the globe, focussing on improving the quality of applications submitted.

Open Access Journals

Open Access Journals, through its novel initiative, is committed to bring forth genuine and reliable scientific contributions to the relevant community.
