Photograph of brightly decorated Ukrianian Easter eggsThe photograph above is from the Ukrainian Institute YouTube page linked below. Do you notice similarities between the Ukrainian flag and the Sign Union flag? What are the similarities and differences?  The image at left is from the article posted on the Ukrainian Institute of America website linked below. Check out the article about The Pysanka: A Symbol of Hope: A Living Installation of Ukrainian Easter Eggs. Together with the Ukrainian Institute of America (UIA) and the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations (WFUWO), Ms. Zielyk conceived and produced a communal and participatory exhibition of the pysanka.

Two posters from online exhibit: the one on the left shows a small lighted black house against a quarter moon and blue sky, and a yellow ground with black paint like drippings. The right poster shows a white side profile against a black yellow background of a girl with a splattered orange eye holding glasses that has a dart in it. There are darts in her head and on her body.

The poster images are from an exhibit: Impressions of War Poster Art from Ukraine posted on the Ukrainian Institute of America website which is linked below. There are other art exhibits on their website. If interested in their film fests and music concerts, find the information on their site.
