Computing and Information Sciences: Course Textbooks

Guide to using the RIT Libraries for all students enrolled in GCCIS

IMPORTANT information about course textbooks

Generally speaking, the library only offers course textbooks if requested by the instructor of the course.  These books will be put on course reserve in the library and made available for use in the library only for short term loans of a few hours.

Please try the methods described below if you are interested in finding out whether your course textbooks may be available at the library.

Please note that physical reserve books will not be available for borrowing in the 2020-2021 academic year.

Search the Library Catalog

Next, try searching the catalog for the exact title of the book.  If found, you are welcome to use the book if available or request it if checked out to someone else.  If not found, unfortunately, we do not have the textbook in any format.
