Study Room Reservations

Graduate students without an office may want to use the library's study rooms.  You may reserve library study rooms using RIT's Events Management System.

Graduate Study Center

The Office of Graduate Education and the RIT Libraries have partnered to provide a dedicated space for graduate students to study and write.  The Graduate Study Center is located in 1470 Wallace and is available during the following hours on days when classes are in session:

Sundays 11:00am - Mondays 3:00am

Mondays 5:00pm - Tuesdays 3:00am

Tuesdays 5:00pm - Wednesdays 3:00am

Wednesdays 5:00pm - Thursdays 3:00am

Thursdays 5:00pm - Fridays 3:00am

Fridays 5:00pm - Midnight (Saturdays 12:00am)

Saturdays 10:00am - Midnight (Sundays 12:00am)

Note: The room will not be available during RIT scheduled breaks, and for reserved events as posted



  • Right now the 1470 conference room is set up using the “First come first serve method” only during the posted times listed below.
  • The sign in sheet in a binder for this room is inside the conference room.
  • The students must sign in the binder. Students cannot reserve this room online.
  • These days and times are blocked in the RIT new reservation system, so no one else can reserve it during the listed times.
  • The Graduate Study Center is located in 1470 Wallace and is available only during the following hours:

Mon-Wed 5:00pm - 8:00am

Thu-Fri 6:00pm - 8:00am

Sat 10:00am - 12:00am

Sun 11:00am - 8:00am
