Finding DVDs

DVD cover "Introduction to Deaf Hate Crime" in light tan font on a brown background.

We have a few DVDs related to the Deaf and Criminal Justice system.  Use the  keywords  deaf* AND (crime OR criminal*), deaf* AND prison*, deaf* AND victim*, deaf* AND murder*, deaf* AND abuse, deaf* AND (trial OR court*), deaf* AND "domestic violence" and other related keywords. Narrow the results to videos and DVDs, The asterisk * next to the word will find variations of it such as prisoner, prisons, victimization, etc.

YouTube has online videos you can look at. Use the keywords listed above without the asterisk.

Finding Legal Interpreting DVDs

We have some legal and court interpreting DVDs. You can use the keywords (legal OR law*) AND (interpret* OR deaf*) to retrieve results. Narrow the catalog to videos.

Finding Online Videos

Check out the Deaf Mosaic online videos available through the Gallaudet Video Catalog. There is one on Deaf people in jail, and some of the obstacles they face.
