Publisher Contracts

Below are the five publishers with whom RIT Dubai has existing contracts, along with their respective pricing structures.

Cengage

CUI will give your students access to more than 10,000 eBooks covering 675 courses across 70 disciplines

Students will have access for 12 months

Students will have access to College Success and Career Success resources available within CUI

Students will have access to all Digital Platforms like MindTap , WebAssign (faculty need to set up course first, so students can enrol themselves)

CUI is integrated to RIT LMS

Cengage will provide access to all available teaching resources to the faculty.

Price: $ 77/- for 12-month access.

Macmillan

Macmillan Learning – Achieve

Achieve platform offers an all-inclusive package designed to support both students and instructors. Key features include:

  • Full access to the Achieve course platform

  • Seamless LMS integration

  • Comprehensive technical support, including assistance with course creation and customization

  • Instructor training and onboarding

  • 48 months of eBook access

  • One-time product charge: If a student is enrolled in multiple courses using the same Achieve product/book, they will only be charged once

Invoicing:

Macmillan will invoice based on the final number of enrolled students. Invoices will be issued once we provide them confirmed student numbers.

Price: $ 40/-

McGraw Hill

Access to Connect/ALEKS on day one for all students

McGraw Hill to invoice RIT on enrolment numbers after the “add and drop period”

Course Mapping: All RIT courses will be mapped, providing their syllabus embedded within all MH products

Professional Development: PD sessions for instructors at RIT, hosted by instructors from across the world

Training & Implementation: Teacher onboarding, Student Sessions, LMS integrations 

Reporting & Analytics: University-wide analytics showing student grades, engagement levels

Pearson

Pearson MyLab combines content with personalized engagement to help students see real results. With insights on student performance, you can adapt your course to drive success. Customize courses with ease. Build your course from scratch or use our pre-built assignments.

 

Price:

$40/- per student per product for one year access.

Billing based on enrolment.

Wiley

Available courseware – WileyPLUS, zyBooks.

WileyPLUS: includes 12-month access to eBook, interactive practice questions and ability to create auto-graded online assignments with analytics 

zyBooks: Gives just the right level of content for students learning to program, packaged in an interactive online experience that also allows for instructor customization. 

Can pilot one zyBooks course free-of-charge for Programming.

Bills RIT Dubai directly based on the number of enrolment.

For E-texts, access will be provided using the Vitalsource platform.

 

Price: 

WileyPLUS access/course: $43/Academic Year/Student.
WileyPLUS access for more than one academic year can be extended with no additional charges, upon the request of the instructor before the start of the semester.
zyBook: $43/Academic Year/Student.
zyBook + zyLab bundle: $60/Academic Year/Student.
Perpetual VitalSource E-text access: $40/Student.

VitalSource

RIT Dubai has entered into an agreement with VitalSource; however, the integration with our Learning Management System (LMS) is still in progress and is being handled by RIT New York.

 

Price:

Codes Redeemed: For each code redeemed by enrolled students (or auto-redeemed through a VitalSource-managed integration), VitalSource will issue an invoice based on the agreed price per title between RIT Dubai and the respective publishers. In cases where no prior agreement exists with a publisher, VitalSource will negotiate a fair and reasonable price.
