ACM SIGCHI is the Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interaction of the Association for Computing Machinery. You can browse and search SIGCHI's publications in the ACM Digital Library, including the proceedings of their CHI Annual Conference, aka the Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.
The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) is dedicated to the study of how human requirements influence design of all types. Their primary journal, Human Factors, and the Proceedings of their annual meeting, are available through the Sage Premier database. Additionally, the library offers several retrospective HFES publications in print.
The User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA) is a professional society advocating for user-centered design. Formerly known as the UPA, they publish the Journal of Usability Studies. The proceedings of several of their annual conferences are available at the library on CD-ROM.
