Researching Business Law

While at RIT you have access to two major legal databases:

Nexis Uni features more than 15,000 news, business and legal sources from LexisNexis -- including U.S. Supreme Court decisions dating back to 1790 -- with an intuitive interface that offers quick discovery across all content types, personalization features such as Alerts and saved searches and a collaborative workspace with shared folders and annotated documents.

Formerly Westlaw Campus, this database includes decisions & case law from state & federal courts, state & federal laws, statutes & regulations, & articles from law reviews and journals.

Westlaw Help Guide (PDF)

Both databases republish legal materials made public by various government entities, but they also contain proprietary tools which can help with legal research.

I recommend using Westlaw as our subscription only contains legal material making it easier to search for legal information.
