Some Basic Info

Construction

The Wallace Library is closed as construction on The SHED continues. A temporary library called Wallace On Ice has been set up in the Ritter Arena. This temporary space contains part of the book collection, a circulation desk, public computers and tables to work at..

Textbooks

The library does not proactively add course textbooks to our collection but professors sometimes provide a copy for Reserve  and can also request that we buy one copy and have it placed on print reserves. Keep in mind this is a shared copy. It must be used in the building, will not include electronic supplements and will not be replaced if damaged or goes missing. Using a shared print book can be tricky if you have lots of weekly reading or homework/quizzes/tests that are in the book. If your class is using a non-textbook book as a course reading we may have it in one of our e-book databases. Most but not all e-books are cataloged in our catalog. More on the library and textbooks here.

Consultations By Appointment

I will be available for consultations by appointment via Zoom until library construction is completed and the Reference Librarians can return to their offices. Use LibCal, our scheduling system linked below, to see availability and book a slot. You can book a 30 minute or 1 hour appointment.
