Open Access Publishing Partnerships

Information on Transformative Agreements (also known as "Read and Publish" agreements) RIT Libraries has entered into; as well as any other publishing discounts that my apply to RIT affiliates.

Cambridge University Press Read and Publish Agreement

Benefit:

  • Article Processing Charge waived: Corresponding authors affiliated with RIT may publish open access at no cost in journals covered by this agreement. 
    • Article Types: Research Articles, Review Articles, Rapid Communications, Brief Reports, Case Reports 
    • Journals covered: Use the Eligibility Checker to look up RIT for our full list of journals. If you are at a Global Campus, you will have to enter "USA" in the Location field. 

How to Use this Benefit: 

  1. Submit your research using your institutional affiliation (ideally using ORCID). Note: The corresponding author must be affiliated with RIT (or another participating institution)
  2. Upon acceptance, choose the Gold Open Access option in your author publishing agreement form and select a creative commons license.
