Capital IQ is an advanced finance database though information in the product can benefit multiple types of research projects. All full-time Saunders business faculty can have an account while teaching at RIT. All students, non-Saunders faculty and all adjunct faculty can request a temporary account. There are a limited number of accounts for students, non-Saunders faculty, and all adjunct faculty which will be deleted at the end of each academic year unless we reach our account maximum. If we max out temporary accounts, students, non-Saunders faculty and adjunct faculty accounts will be deleted at the end of the semester or as needed with prior notice of 5 days via the email address submitted via teh request form.
FACULTY & ADJUNCT FACULTY: If you have a class requiring company finance data and believe assignments in the class might benefit from Capital IQ you can email at jlfwml@rit.edu. She will reserve a block of accounts for your students for the semester. She will contact you about the process. Saunders classes will receive priority if accounts max out.
Account requests will be sent to S&P on Mondays when possible. Account creation takes 3-5 business days.
