Where to start?

Human resources literature can be found in both academic and practical periodicals. Academic periodicals are great for understanding the theories and concepts behind this subject. Practical periodicals, like newspapers and trade magazines, are great for seeing what is actually happening in companies. That said, not every company gets reported on in the press.

When we do not have the full text immediately available use the IDS Interlibrary Loan Service to see if we can get a copy.

Interlibrary Loan IDS (We do not have it so we try to get it!)
Use this service to order books and articles we do not have in the immediate collection. Free service that can take a day or two for articles and a week or more for books so plan and research ahead! For business research this comes in handy for journal articles that are embargoed or delayed from redistribution into databases like ProQuest and Ebsco. ILL helps get the latest articles when not immediately available in databases.
