Many times you will be required to use a type of article which might be referred to as academic or scholarly or peer reviewed. Different professors use different terms and for the most part mean the same thing. They usually mean an article that is published by an academic or scholarly journal and written by one or more individuals who study in a specific subject area and the articles target a vary narrow audience of academics or professionals. The articles usually have a stated question or hypothesis that the author will explore this using a defined methodology and will explain their results.
