Join us for a cross-disciplinary panel to explore the broad possibilities of data and how it is used across the institution. Panelists will discuss trends in data use, the impact of data on their work, and the norms for sharing data in their fields.

  Data is everywhere in our daily lives—from the personal data we generate using smart devices and websites to datasets compiled by researchers or government agencies. Finding reliable and usable data can be challenging whether you are searching free websites or accessing databases available at RIT Libraries. Join us for a brief workshop where we’ll be sharing tips on finding relevant data, accessing it and analyzing it for scholarly research or personal use.
