Search RIT's library catalog using the box below:

To find scholarly texts on your topic, look for books published by university presses or well-known scholarly publishing entities such as Academic Press, Ashgate, Blackwell, Edward Elgar, Elsevier, Francis and Taylor, John Wiley, Palgrave Macmillan, Routledge, and Sage Publications.

Discovering books outside of RIT (edit jf)

Google Books is a great way to discover books beyond RIT's collection. For more search options, be sure to checkout the Advanced Book Search page that allows you to search by title, author, publisher, date, and subject. Once you find a book that looks interesting, check RIT's catalog to see if it's available through our collection. If not place an interlibrary loan request using the options on the right.

Search Google Books using the box below:

Finding books beyond RIT (for free!) edit

If RIT doesn't have what you need, there are other options available. Through Interlibrary Loan, RIT students, faculty, and staff can request books from other libraries for free.

Still can't find what you need? No problem! Fill out our IDS Express request form and we'll have another library send the book to RIT free of charge.
