Welcome IGM students

Welcome - this guide is intended to introduce you to library and information research for topics such as: game design and development, game programming, and new media.

To begin exploring your topic, try searching in Summon using the search box below.

To discover other research sources, use the navigation tabs to the left.

Search Summon

Summon is a great discovery tool for those who have not yet narrowed down their topic or key words. It will show the user all materials that are available to them through RIT.

Find books using the library catalog

Search the RIT Libraries Catalog for books on topics of interest.  The catalog contains records for both print and electronic books, both of which will be useful for researching game design.

Search for more journals

Search here to find game design journals, magazines, and conference proceedings.  Search for the words "game" or "games" in the title.  Some results may be on game theory, an economic concept not relevant to game design.
