Books can be a great source for your project both for primary source material and secondary scholarly research. RIT has a wide collection of books available on a multitude of topics.
To find scholarly texts on your topic, look for books published by university presses or well-known scholarly publishing entities such as Academic Press, Ashgate, Blackwell, Edward Elgar, Elsevier, Francis and Taylor, John Wiley, Palgrave Macmillan, Routledge, and Sage Publications.

If RIT doesn't have what you need, there are other options available. Through services such as ConnectNY and Interlibrary Loan, RIT students, faculty, and staff can request books from other libraries for free.
Still can't find what you need? No problem! Fill out our interlibrary loan request form and we'll have another library send the book to RIT free of charge.
