All RIT Osher Institute students who have a current annual membership have the privilege of using Wallace Library’s circulating book collection, electronic resources, and interlibrary loan services at this time. Osher students who do not have an annual membership do not have any library privileges.
Note: RRLC Access cards may be given out to Osher Institute students with a current annual membership if a good case is made for obtaining the card—they are not given out lightly.
If there is a video in our catalog that Osher you would like to use in the classroom they can be place on Reserve. Contact email@example.com. You must be an Osher instructor to borrow reserve DVDs. You will need to come to the library to borrow and return any videos you wish to use in class.
RIT Osher Institute students who have a current annual membership can request items via interlibrary loan using the IDS Express site. Osher Institute students should log into IDS Express with their RIT usernames and passwords in order to register and make requests. Contact the RIT ITS Service desk for help with your RIT account (firstname.lastname@example.org, 585-475-4357, TTY 585-475-2810). For assistance in using Interlibrary Loan, see this FAQ or contact the IDS department at 585-475-2560 (Voice) or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
Osher students have their very own librarian! If you have any library-related questions or need help researching material for a class, contact Wendy Way for assistance. Her contact information can be found using the Chat/Email/Appointments button at the top-right of the page.
