NSCI 162 Fundamentals of Biology II: Overview

This guide introduces students to resources for their biology assignment.

This guide will assist you with your research assignment and finding information on your topic.  There are recommendations to the best peer-reviewed resources and search tips for various topics to help you locate encyclopedias, books, and article databases. APA and MLA citation information are also available.

I will be using Endometriosis as a sample search. Use Credo Reference to get background information on your topic. It will also show you related databases you can search. MedLine Plus is also a good starting place for your research. You can find some books on this topic by using the RIT Libraries Catalog search below. If you have questions, feel free to contact me, Joan Naturale - I am the NTID and Deaf Studies Librarian and happy to help.

I have added these handouts created from your professor, Sarah Sarchet.
