EndNote Click (formerly Kopernio) is a utility that allows you to instantly access subscribed articles from the RIT Libraries' databases while you are searching sources like PubMed, Google Scholar, and Web of Science. EndNote Click also allows you to store PDFs in a personal locker for your future research.
EndNote Click requires a free registration to use; it does not integrate with your existing RIT username and password. If you use EndNote Online, you can use the same account to access EndNote Click.
Benefits of using EndNote Click:
Upgrade to Premium
Because the RIT Libraries subscribe to the Web of Science, members of the RIT community that install EndNote Click via the link below and register with an RIT email address will be upgraded to EndNote Click Premium for free.
Benefits of EndNote Click Premium include all the benefits listed above, plus:
Once you have installed the EndNote Click (formerly Kopernio) browser plugin and created a free account, you can direct EndNote Click to export references for saved PDFs to EndNote:
Open your EndNote Click settings and select Customize. Then set your preferred reference manager to EndNote - you can then use the Export to EndNote button in EndNote Click when you access PDFs to download the citation to your EndNote account.
The Export to EndNote button in EndNote Click generates an RIS file containing the reference data for the PDF article. As an EndNote Online user, you'll need to import this RIS file following the instructions in the "Importing saved references from text files" box on the Importing References page of this guide.
