Host Mark J. Myers interviews Dr. Alan Hurwitz from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf about the process of students leaving home for college. Mark also interviews a deaf couple (Michael and Bonnie Locke) whose son is attending NTID for the first time. Two new students (Cindy Perry and Patrick Harness) were interviewed, and questions from the studio audience provided interesting conversation on this sensitive topic.
