How to get articles and books not owned by RIT

What if I discover an article or book but RIT does not own or have immediate full text access?

We have a service called IDS also know as interlibrary loan. Use the link below to request a copy of the article and we will try to get you an electronic copy for free. Read the IDS FAQ for any questions or email them at illwml@rit.edu

Interlibrary Loan IDS (We do not have it so we try to get it!)
Use this service to order books and articles we do not have in the immediate collection. Free service that can take a day or two for articles and a week or more for books so plan and research ahead! For business research this comes in handy for journal articles that are embargoed or delayed from redistribution into databases like ProQuest and Ebsco. ILL helps get the latest articles when not immediately available in databases.
