Because you are searching for and gathering articles across time, begin to think of how you may want to manage your body of work gathered. Citation management is more than just being able to generate full references.
One method is to use a citation management tool to stay organized. Tools such as Zotero, Endnote or Mendeley are helpful to manage items discovered during the literature review process. Keep in mind you will need to spend time learning how to use the tool.
Zotero is a free tool from a non-profit when functions such as organizing collections and exporting bibliographies in different journals styles.
Endnote is a commercial product owned by Clarivate. The library provides free access to EndNote. Desktop access must be purchased. The library can offer guidance on how to use a Endnote Basic and does not support Endnote desktop.
Mendeley is a commercial product owned by Elsevier.
