Where to start?

This guide has library resources helpful for all the organizational behavior classes taught at RIT. These subjects include business ethics, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship, human resource management, leadership, organizational behavior, and strategy & innovation.

Depending on the nature of your class you may need practical or scholarly information or both.
Practical information represents information which reflects what is actually happening in the business world. Newspapers, magazines, trade magazines, company websites, and press releases all represent sources of practical information.

Scholarly or academic articles are usually written usually by professors and have a methodology applied to the examination of a specific problem or observation.

It is important to be able to distinguish a scholarly article from a practical article. Take a look at the two examples linked below and watch the videos linked below the articles. These will help you understand teh difference between these types of articles.
You professor may have guidelines of what types of articles you are allowed to use in your research. Take a look at your syllabus. Sometimes professor will refer to scholarly articles as academic or peer-reviewed.
