Start using O'Reilly for Higher Education and learn!

As an RIT student or employee, you are able to use O'Reilly for Higher Education.

The O'Reilly for Higher Education platform (OHE for short) includes books, videos, learning paths, case studies, interactive tutorials, and audio books.  RIT users get access to content from O'Reilly and more than 200 other top publishers.

Access is restricted to CURRENT RIT students, staff, and faculty.

How do I log in to OHE?

O'Reilly for Higher Education is now configured to work with RIT's Single Sign-On System.  Simply follow the links to OHE on this guide and log in with your RIT username and password when prompted. If you logged into OHE using our temporary access model, the good news is that your profile information will still be intact when you log in with your RIT credentials!

There are two basic methods to access content from OHE:

The first is to log into OHE as a database, and then search or browse all the content available to you.

The second is to locate individual titles in the library catalog and follow the authenticated links from there to the individual title.
