Start using O'Reilly for Higher Education and learn!

As an RIT student or employee, you are able to use O'Reilly for Higher Education.

The O'Reilly for Higher Education platform (OHE for short) includes books, videos, learning paths, case studies, interactive tutorials, and audio books.  RIT users get access to content from O'Reilly and more than 200 other top publishers.

Access is restricted to CURRENT RIT students, staff, and faculty.

How do I log in to OHE?

TEMPORARY ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS

Click on the Quick Access link in the box below to access O'Reilly for Higher Education.  You'll be prompted to select your institution - however, RIT will not be on the list.  Select "Not listed? Click here."

If this is your first time using OHE, enter your RIT email address in the box.  Do not use email aliases; use the standard format of your RIT email address - e.g., xxxyyy@rit.edu.  You will receive a confirmation email, which will allow you to create a password that can be used for future logins and to log into the O'Reilly app.

If you are a returning user, click the "Already a user?" link.  Sign in with your RIT email address and the O'Reilly password you created.

NOTE: As this is a temporary access model, any customizations you make to your personal account will only remain in place until the permanent Single Sign-On method is enabled.

If you're ready, start here!  For more details, please refer to the tabs on the left side of this guide for specific instructions on how to get the most out of RIT's O'Reilly for Higher Education subscription.
