Welcome Graduate Students

This guide serves as an entry point to library services for all RIT graduate students.  It is especially of interest to new graduate students, but even if you have been enrolled at RIT a while, you're likely to find it useful.

Subject Guides

Focus on the information resources most relevant to your area of study by browsing our InfoGuides by subject.

Use Google Scholar Effectively

Many graduate students are familiar with Google Scholar.  While Google Scholar can be a good starting point searching, you'll want to learn a few things about how to use it more effectively.  See the guide below for more details.

Start With Your Librarian

Each college at RIT has a representative librarian - begin your library research experience by getting to know your librarian.  The librarians are available to offer you detailed assistance with your literature review and research in support of your thesis, capstone, project, dissertation, or portfolio.
