Books

Some books are online, and you can click on the link in the catalog record. Other books are in print format, and you can check them out from our circulating collections. If a book is off-site, you can request book delivery by clicking on the Request tab.

Below is our library catalog--- you can search by author, title, keyword, or subject. What I have listed is just a sampling of our titles. You can use the keywords deaf* AND (African American* OR black*) to retrieve best results. The asterisk * next to the keywords will find variations in the spelling of that word, ie, Deafened, Deafblind, Americans, and blacks.  The Sage Encyclopedia of Deaf Studies has a section on African Americans.
