My Background:   My professional experience began in quality control and new product development laboratories as a laboratory technician for companies such as General Electric and Corning Inc.  My applied technical information research and instruction experiences are based ion when I was working as an Information Specialist,/ Library Manager and Business Services Analyst for Corning, Bausch @ Lomb, USPTO, EDS and Xerox. 

My Education background: Ed. D Education, MLS Information Studies , M.S. Education, B.S. Medical Technology and Biochemistry, MIS/BSA/Website Development certificates from RIT’s SCOB.

Morna Hilderbrand Background

IDS Interlibrary Loan Service Point of contact: 

Morna Hilderbrand, as Information Delivery Services (IDS) Librarian is responsible for the timely and cost effective delivery of materials obtained from other libraries and commercial sources. Hilderbrand interfaces with subject bibliographers to maintain proficiency in RIT resources and facilitate outreach and collection development efforts. Before joining RIT, she was Access Services Manager at Cornell University.  She holds a BS from Cornell and an MSLIS from Syracuse University. Her research focused on Agronomy (soil science) , Botany (Agriculture focus, Integrated Pest Management. She did some work for Ag Pharma, bio-identicals, GMO and tons of grafting for NY/Cornell apple and grape industries).
