In July 2025, after careful consideration and extensive review, RIT Libraries made the difficult decision to discontinue our current streaming media service model effective January 1, 2026. The university librarian communicated this decision to all deans in July. This means that RIT Libraries will no longer purchase or provide access to individual streaming media titles. We will retain access to the Films on Demand database.
To support the transition, we will be offering 2 drop-in Zoom sessions. No registration is required. Please join us on Zoom as we review the process for obtaining media and answer any questions you have.
