Finding sources:
For scholarly work, use Google Scholar. Make sure your library settings point to RIT Libraries. You can also use Summon, our library discovery tool, to find books (also e-Books), articles, and videos. Some materials, like DVDs or books, may be off-site in building 99. You can request (watch a short video) the materials by clicking on the request tab above the title in the catalog record.
If you need a book or article that the library doesn't have, you can request it for free through Interlibrary Loan.
The Department of Deaf Education InfoGuide lists Deaf and Disability journals you can search directly.
One database you can use is LinkedIn Learning, which offers captioned videos and courses. Here is an InfoGuide with instructions. Another database is O'Reilly which also has captioned videos and e-Books.
Look up books using our RIT Libraries Catalog. You can use a book chapter as one of your sources.
