The Gallaudet Encyclopedia and the Sage Deaf Studies Encyclopedia has articles on general countries such as Mexico, Spain, etc. Use Deaf biographies like Great Deaf Americans, Deaf Persons in the Arts and Sciences, and Movers and Shakers: Deaf People Who Changed the World to find more articles about Deaf Hispanic or Latino Americans.
Use the Gallaudet Biography Database to find Deaf Hispanic and Latino Americans. You can browse by ethnicity. If interested in articles about this group in popular periodicals, check out the Deaf Life magazine. It is helpful to have the name of the person you are looking for. You can also search the Gallaudet Deaf Periodicals Database and scroll down to Hispanic or Latino Americans to find articles in a variety of magazines. Check the A-Z Journal Finder list to see if we have the title.
