ZoomText and CCTV

ZoomText software:  Students who need this software can contact their Vocational Rehabilitation counselor to get the software they need. For more information, contact the RIT Disability Services Office.

CCTV is a device to enlarge print materials. This is in the Disability Services Office.

You can also scan print materials using our copiers/scanners. Scanning the articles with optical character recognition (OCR) to your email is free. Use your ID card and swipe at the copier/scanner to scan.

Microsoft

You can customize settings in Microsoft by using the Ease of Access Center. Here you can turn on the Narrator, adjust magnification, and high-contrast colors. Those with mobility issues can adjust the keyboard and mouse.

Apple

Apple products also have access adjustments you can make for hearing, vision, cognition and mobility issues.
