Please refer to e-books and e-articles in our Accessible Library Resources InfoGuide for more information. If you need to check out print materials such as encyclopedias that are not available for check-out, arrangments can be made to scan what you, or check out the material for a short time.

AccessText Network-Find and request accessible PDF textbooks from many publishers.

Bookshare is a service available for qualified individuals who experience reading barriers. The Disability Services Office at RIT provides assistance with textbook scans for qualified students. 

Internet Archive has a program for people with print barriers. You can sign up and get access to unprotected (no DRM) EPUBs or PDFs of the titles the Archive has scanned which can be translated into audiobooks.
