Summon is a library resources discovery catalog similar to Google. It includes search results for books, articles, and archive items. You can also search beyond our library's collection. Sometimes, it is still useful to search individual databases, as Summon might miss some items.
RIT Libraries Catalog: includes results from our collections, such as books, journals, videos, course reserves, and special collections.
Journal Finder: We subscribe to hundreds of journals, including Sign Language Studies, the Journal of Deaf Studies and Education, and the American Annals of the Deaf. You will see all holdings for the journal-title.
Databases: We subscribe to hundreds of databases in various disciplines that support programs. The go-to database I use most often is Proquest Complete.
OER: More faculty are exploring OER materials to replace formal textbooks. An InfoGuide with detailed information on finding these free and reusable resources is available. Other materials, such as syllabi, lesson plans, and related items, can also be found. We are happy to present to your department or individually about these resources.
