Private Chat
Enabling private chats help individuals to communicate privately. For example, an interpreter or a captionist might need to ask a DHH person a question.
To enable Private chat for your own use:
- Sign in to Zoom
- In the navigation panel, click Settings.
- Click the Meeting tab.
- Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Chat and Private chat are enabled.
Saving Chats
- Follow directions above
- Under In Meeting (Basic), check off Allow users to save chats from the meeting
- After this, verify that you select enable everyone
Auto-saving chats
- Follow directions above
- Under In Meeting (Basic), enable auto-saving chats.
