Hello! I support the research needs for students, faculty and staff in the Saunders College of Business. I am the subject specialist for business and as such I help any patrons at RIT understand how to do business research. This includes searching and citing. I have been a librarian since 1995 and started my career at The Conference Board in New York City. I was very lucky to begin my career at The Board answering questions on almost any business topic posed by executives and employees at Fortune 1000 and other companies. It was an amazing training ground for business reference. Here at RIT in addition to answering questions, I teach how to do research, citation and how to use generative artificial intelligence. I also select the business materials for the library’s collection. This includes books (print and electronic), periodicals, and databases. Doing collection development is a combination of looking at what projects are happening in the classes in Saunders, knowing the opportunities or limitations the library’s budget presents, and staying on top of the resources and databases available for annual leasing for an academic library at any given time. My professional interests are in the technology and methodology behind discovery of information, instruction and pedagogy, reference, information literacy, and the applications of generative artificial intelligence in research, productivity, communication and library services.
Use of RIT resources is reserved for current RIT students, faculty
and staff for academic and teaching purposes only.
Please contact your librarian with any questions.
