She delivered a sign language speech on domestic violence. She founded an organization, Femmes sourdes citoyennes et solidaires. Catherine was involved with a film, Like Dolls I'll Rise.Two hundred one-of-a-kind Black dolls, a work of powerful original poetry, and never before seen archival materials combine to tell a remarkable story of love, survival, and identity.
