The image below is from Inouïes. There is a new French book entitled Inouïes: Portraits de Femmes Sourds. She is the first Deaf woman to win the Gisèle Halimi prize. She delivered a sign language speech on domestic violence. She founded an organization, Femmes sourdes citoyennes et solidaires. Catherine was involved with a film, Like Dolls I'll Rise.Two hundred one-of-a-kind Black dolls, a work of powerful original poetry, and never before seen archival materials combine to tell a remarkable story of love, survival, and identity. Catherine Zlatkovic won the jury's favorite prize for the Gisèle Halimi Prize with a powerful speech 
on the violence suffered by deaf women.To highlight the talent of women and denounce sexism through words, 
the Women's Foundation organized on 09/07/2019, in the legendary room of the Maison de la Radio - Studio
104 - and for the third consecutive year, an eloquence contest. Please note that the video is in French
