Sketched Portrait of Marie Pauline LarrouyMarie Pauline Larrouy (1834-1919). She was a student and instructor in the school for the deaf in Bordeaux, then founder and director of the school for the deaf in Oloron-Sainte-Marie. Marie was also the first deaf woman to be awarded the Academic Palms.
