I have a B.A. in History from Binghamton University, a Masters of Library Science from Queens College and an M.S. in Communication and Media Technologies from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Prior to joining RIT in 2003, I was a Senior Information Specialist for The Conference Board and before that a paralegal for a civil litigation firm in New York City. Moved to NYC right after college and never imagined leaving. But I landed in Rochester a magical city of film enthusiasts, rich history, amazing parks, a Great Lake, and waterfalls including a huge one right in the downtown. My professional interests are in the technology and methodology behind discovery of information, instruction and pedagogy, reference, information literacy, and the applications of artificial intelligence in research, productivity, communication and library services.
