Patti (Patricia) Durr

Patti is an Associate Professor in the Cultural and Creative Studies Department at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. The collage Repressive Means by Patti Durr consists of an 18" x 40" 10 pane white framed window. Each pane is decorated with various collage elements including painted red lips and print materials. The largest pane has an image of a deaf person with a chain affixed to its ear.
