Nancy Rourke studied graphic design and painting at the National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY, and earned a master's degree in computer graphic design and painting. She has worked as a graphic designer for such companies as Xerox, 20th Century Fox, and Microsoft Corporation.
