The NTID Drama Club presented three segments: And Gladly Teach, a one-act play written by Robert F. Panara about the life and legacy of Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, who pioneered deaf education in the United States; a one-act holiday play, Two Angels on Duty, directed by Ron Fields; and a variety show featuring music and dance, directed by Mitchell Travers.
And Gladly Teach, a play in seven scenes directed by Betty Bonni, is being performed to coincide with the deaf community's celebration of Gallaudet's birthday on December 10. Additionally, the play incorporates poems by NTID deaf faculty members Robert Panara and Loy Golladay.
