Macbeth: November 6-9, 1986

Macbeth was one of five productions selected from 35 regional entries at the Northeast Regional Competition of the American College Theatre Festival, held at the Dillingham Center at Ithaca College.

NTID Theatre is known for exploring innovative ways to enhance theatrical communication. Traditionally, productions blend sign language and spoken word to support visual storytelling. However, in their staging of Macbeth, the company made a bold departure by eliminating spoken lines entirely. Instead, they aimed to create a visual ballet, conveying the narrative solely through imagery.
