The NTID Department of Performing Arts were proud to have the exhibition at the Dyer Arts Center in celebration of the 50th anniversary of NTID Performing Arts. The exhibition showcased historic highlights of performances from the 1970s through 2024. An opening event took place on October 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Dyer Arts Center.
The exhibition, which ran from October 18, 2024, to May 16, 2025, featured the rich history of the NTID Drama Club, Experience Experiment Theatre, RIT Dance Company, Sunshine Too, and more. Visitors explored a captivating collection of costumes, props, models, lighting elements, photographs, posters, and other memorabilia. This was a unique opportunity to revisit and celebrate the remarkable legacy of performing arts at NTID.

A special Director’s Panel was also held on Friday, October 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert F. Panara Theatre. Esteemed directors Patrick Graybill, Jerome Cushman, Bonnie Meath-Lang, Aaron Kelstone, Jim Orr, Thomas Warfield, and JW Guido shared the stage to reminisce, reflect on personal stories and memories, and discuss both the history and future of NTID Performing Arts.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on and celebrate our remarkable journey in the performing arts.
April 25, 2025 - NTID and NTID Department of Performing Arts were honored to welcome the legendary Patrick Graybill to RIT/NTID as we celebrated his extraordinary legacy in Deaf theatre. For decades, he has inspired generations through his artistry and unwavering dedication to the NTID Performing Arts program.
We proudly recognized his invaluable contributions with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new “Green Room,” named in his honor at NTID.
RIT/NTID hosted the Lyon Lectureship Series featuring Troy Kotsur, a 2022 Academy Award winner for best actor in a supporting role in the film "CODA", on April 24, 2025, in the Panara Theatre.
