The American Deaf Play Creators' Festival, supported by the Nathan Cummings Foundation, brings top artists to Rochester. Featured performers include Chuck Baird, Luane Davis, Susan Jackson, Megg Masterjohn, and Shanny Mow, alongside RIT/NTID students Matt Hochkeppel, Mel Westlake, and Ed Wing.
Produced by Matthew Scott Moore, founder of DEAFLIFE magazine, the festival includes workshops, a staged reading of Eddie Swayze’s new play The Clone of Cecelia, and MainStage performances of Squanto Spoke English and The Golden Arrow.
